Very sad about Adam. I also learned mike viola was the voice on the recordings. I truly thought they were an actual "band" in that they all learned the material and actually played the songs for the movie and recordings. Kinda sad it wasn't actually Jonathan, singing.

This has been my favorite movie since it came out (I’m 31) and I’m so sad that Adam Schlesinger has passed. Not much in the world makes sense at this point in history.

Adam Schlesinger just died from complications from Covid-19. So sad. This song so evoked the early '60's pop sound. Joyous!

Adam Schlesinger, co-founder and songwriter from Fountains of Wayne, and the man who wrote this song, just passed away from complications from the novel coronavirus. He was 52. Excellent musician. May he rest in peace.
