James Hetfield, the man himself, sat down with us at Guitar Center in San Francisco. In the small room, he shared stories about becoming a musician, rising to fame, and even played a bit. All the while, customers continued to shop in the store, having no idea it was James playing.

GC employee: No stairway..
James: I play Deep Purple's Child in time.

You and elvis are the only reasons that i dont hate american people, other than that we ve got totally useless people. I am a Turk by the way. Tengri bless you James we have to appreciate what you ve been doing to make the world a better and meaningful place to live. This video should has to be demonstrated at highschool for training purposes of generating "Human". Stay with the "Light" James. Cheers!
One reason I quit listening to people who are sell outs. If you buy a guitar or sponsor guitar center. Your 200% sellout
Could you imagine getting a 1969 Gibson SG for $200 today……
Yo. Those fake photography flashes were so annoying. Please don’t edit that shit in in future episodes.
This is a True Artist and Legend, Ladies and Gentleman James Hetfield, to give so much to the world, to inspire so many other Artists and to give chance to children to learn about the music is what this Life is for. Keep in mind many children don't have money for Guitar or Drums or Bass and we never know how many artists we lost. Thank You James , <3 Metallica !
Metallica are a shitty band and its because their drummer can't count to four.
Imma simple man, i saw james, i hit that liked button.

Holy fuck! Cool ass people are everything!
When you have met him in person and you wish you would have seen this video prior to meeting him. I think It would have been a different kind of conversation. He is totally amazing. He makes me want to grab the checkbook and say, how much do you need to help those kids, how much would it cost me for you to teach me that ABC's of the guitar. He is a true gentleman and human being. God Blessed James and I'm pretty freaking sure, he knows it. Rob and Kylie in Souther Oklahoma…. It was great meeting you James.
Ahh..
I need to know how to play that’s clean riff thing, it’s so beautiful.
Somebody out there probably still has that 69 SG and doesn't realise it was James' first guitar
