On October 9, 2019, Trafalgar Releasing presents S&M2, a must-see celebration of the 20th anniversary of Metallica’s groundbreaking S&M concerts and album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony. See them once again perform with the Symphony as legendary conductor Michael Tilson Thomas leads a portion of the show, kicking off his final season in San Francisco. Recorded live on September 6th and 8th, the shows also commemorate the opening of the state-of-the-art Chase Center, a historic addition to the city’s waterfront.
Including several tracks from the original ’99 S&M release as well as symphonic versions of new songs released since then, this theatrical release gives millions of fans around the world the chance to eclipse time and experience the show as a modern-day big screen concert.

For those of you that are in the metal this isn't the movie to go see LOL

Can anyone tell me whether the cinema release will be a concert/documentary type feature, or just the concert performed straight through?
So, around here people are prudes at the movie theater. So. They are being put on notice. In Chattanooga(east Ridge amc18) I will standing and singing and chanting "Die…Die….Die.." And "Master!" That goes for everysong. I dont want any crazy looks or ushers asking me to tone it down. Everyone there better wake tf up. This is Metallica. This is S & M 2. Floor tickets at concert are 4-10 Thousand fucking dollars. Noone but rich assholes ( prob not a bigger Met fan than me) could ever afford. So be ready mofos.
I'll be flying out to San Francisco from Hawaii to see this show(2nd night)….and as a LONG time Metallica fan…..I'm fucking Stoaked!!!!!!!!

I don't remember Creeping Death being on the S&M album. That would be the one I'd like to see most performed with the symphony. That and Trapped Under Ice.

I hope Lars will be in good shape as he was in 1999 S&M. Songs were flawless thanks to his playing. Otherwise, many of the songs will cause disappointment as the harmony with symphony will be affected. Please practice a little bit Lars, please.
