And Cliff was a bass genius, because he died in a tragic accident! Come on, guys… Metallica is a huge band, but the bass was never their thing. Stop making gods out of every dude that died tragically! Just listen to any song by Iron Maiden and see what bass could do for a band! Not to mention bands like Primus, where Claypool is absolutely killing it, or Molotov, where they always have at least two bass players plugged and playing.
