@the313v it cant be before 1986 because jason is on bass and he didnt join metallica till 1986/1987 and also james has a mustache and a black esp which he used in the enter sandman viid in 1990 so i would say somewhere between 1987 and 1990
@the313v cant be before 1986 because jason is on bass and jason didnt join till 1986/1987 i forget, but i recon its between 1986 and 1990 cause james has a mustache and a black esp, the one that he used in the enter sandman video in 1990
one of me is fucking sad that i had no chance to see them at THAT time, the other half says im lucky that i can have so much more metallica albums now. 😀
it's late 1991, not San Diego…might be New York-Uniondale, or Minneapolis, or what… Kirk didn't wear that shirt in the year 1992, i guess, only 1991! I might have this show on old vhs… i will look and say which concert that was
sometimes i wish lars can go back to having his full 6 tom set instead of 4 .. . this set has fucking balls, yet the new ones with only two rack toms look skimpy
in this era, no one would think that that cool singer on stage, playing guitar and dressed in black would later play an acoustic guitar dressed like a cowboy and with a cowboy hat singing ''mamma said'' but thats just the way life goes and everyone changes, luckily james got back to the metal james 😉
@sniped101 yes i know, but i like death magnetic, only one song from st. anger, every album exept for st. anger was ok or great, but yes old metallica was way different
@DowntownTB13 its all about the older albums.. the black album and before. I am 20 and I noticed a change between the new metallica and the old.. and I love the old. I can't stand the new metallica
i wasn't even born but the only album i consider "old" by Metallica is Kill 'Em All, the others don't seem "old" to me. I was born in 1996 by the way. Fuck my parents for having me born when load came out.
Damn they were alot better then, Im not saying they're not good now Im just saying this is the originals time….. so It's alot better, plus the guys voice for this song was a bit better here
if you knew anything about james, he blew his voice out during the recording of the black album, it was on So What!, he had to go to a synagogue to learn how to sing properly
Their sound is so much better and more refined now.
short haired james sucks
3:50 OMFG, IT'S SO EPIC
yaa his beast lion hair is like 89 to like 92 or something
@Eirik27194 there not even close to dead …….

@whaip when i say old i mean before 1986 !
@LightningRider15 Its Just My Opinion, Cliff backing vocals were great, fuck yeah, but I THINKKK that Jasons vocals are better, just my opinion
Can some one tell me what shirt is Kirk wearing plz
Man…. Jason backing vocals are…. fucking fucking great, noone can even get close to it.
one of me is fucking sad that i had no chance to see them at THAT time, the other half says im lucky that i can have so much more metallica albums now. 😀
damn Lars was on fire
@rocafella142 or whats left of them nowdays…

wow this must be the San Diego '92 ! The stage looks the same ! Damn dude if u had been there, u're the luckiest guy ever !
Thumbs up if lars should go back to Justice Era DrumKit
Gotta love Jason's – BATTERY!!!!! Puts Rob's feeble effort in the shade when they perform it now!
ok how are they so loud with no amp 😛
in this era, no one would think that that cool singer on stage, playing guitar and dressed in black would later play an acoustic guitar dressed like a cowboy and with a cowboy hat singing ''mamma said'' but thats just the way life goes and everyone changes, luckily james got back to the metal james 😉
m/ >_< m/

@rocafella142 agreed, the drum kit he now uses, is shit! 🙁
jailabait cuando seas mejor que lars en la bateria (osea nunca) di algo de els mientras no por que gracias a el se iso metallica el y james

Damn they were alot better then, Im not saying they're not good now Im just saying this is the originals time….. so It's alot better, plus the guys voice for this song was a bit better here
Metallica isn't dead, but definitly where on their best in the old days
its from live sh*t binge and purge
como dijo cliff… lars = peor baterista ¬¬
Awesome performance. Kirk's solo's rock, James vocal is still awesome, and Lars again.. doing the dirty job.
if you knew anything about james, he blew his voice out during the recording of the black album, it was on So What!, he had to go to a synagogue to learn how to sing properly
this is from the black album era
dont think so, that's what he want us to believe, man? then why he sing perfect this shows?
He blew his voice during the tour not the actual recording of the album.
